RSVP-York County Volunteer Tutors Wanted

Retired and Senior Volunteers 55 and Over

CNCS Tutor MaleRSVP of the Capital Region-York County is seeking volunteer tutors in math or reading for Stewartstown Elementary School, Fawn Area Elementary School, and Delta-Peach Bottom Elementary School. You can pick which one you want to tutor in.

Volunteer benefits include: transportation reimbursement, free supplemental liability insurance, recognition and appreciation events, paid assistance with clearances, free two hour tutoring training, Comcast Newsmakers appearance, volunteer of the month in York County 50+ monthly newspaper, and improved personal happiness.CNCS Tutor

York RSVP Volunteers for the Month of April

Barbara (Barb) and William (Bill) are the York County RSVP Volunteers for the month of April.

They live outside of Delta, Pennsylvania. Bill is retired from Exelon and has two sons, one daughter, and a grandson. He volunteers as a tutor at Delta-Peach Bottom Elementary School and volunteers at Mason-Dixon Community Services in Delta. He has many hobbies include; hiking, kayaking, and reading.

 

Barb is a RN and volunteers at Mason-Dixon Community Services each week. She enjoys her vegetable garden along with her sewing/knitting room.

They are truly a couple giving back to their community.
